Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
The cottage is located in a private bay close to all amenities, including a children’s playground just minutes away. At the shoreline, there are trees for privacy & shade, plus shallow water and an entry that has a limestone shelf typical of the lake. The bottom slopes very gently for some ways out into the bay. The shoreline itself is very sunny and there is a 20 foot dock.
Located 7 minutes south of Washago and 9 minutes north of Casino Rama, just off Rama Road in the centre of private Quarry Point Road. Lake Couchiching is part of the Trent Canal system with easy access to Lake Simcoe by boat.
Please Note: Smallmouth bass, perch, pike and sunfish are plentiful. Best Fishing spot is 75 feet from shore along a 10 foot deep ridge that runs approximately ¼ of a mile both north and sound of the cottage dock.
Please note: In late summer water levels drop due to Trent Severn adjustments
